Walking Down Main is a Post-Hardcore/Metalcore band from Detroit, Michigan.

 The band was formed in 2022 and consists of Jeremiah Doe (vocals), Alex Leventis (drums), Tiernan Smith (bass), Garrett Parks (rhythm guitar), and Jesse Buehler (lead guitar).

In the early stages, jamming in a hot garage, and playing cover songs, the band was ready to write the first lyrics for a freshly written instrumental track. After getting a recording space set up, they finally tracked their first song, entitled “Visions”. In the late-summer of 2022, the song was published on YouTube and SoundCloud as a demo track. The band proceeded to write 4 more songs in that same year with the intent to release their first hard-hitting EP “Watch you drown” shortly after.

 The band wanted to show as many people as possible what they had been working on and hosted their first house show performance on December 4th, 2022. After having an overwhelmingly good turnout, they knew that it had officially begun. Only a couple of weeks later, they were contacted by a promoter for the New Dodge Lounge in Hamtramck, MI to play their first performance and quickly accepted, ready to take the stage.

In early 2023, the band would be contacted to play many more local shows in the Detroit area such as The Blind Pig in Ann Arbor, The Sanctuary Detroit, The Crofoot Ballroom in Pontiac, and more. Shortly after that, The band had the honor of opening up for bigger acts like D.R.U.G.S (Destroy Rebuild Until God Shows), Varials, Attila, Gideon, Ten56, and Until I Wake at The Crofoot Ballroom in Pontiac, MI.
